How should I prepare for my appointment and what should I bring?

We recommend proper undergarments, a heel that you envision yourself wearing, and an open mind! Feel free to bring in your Pinterest page and other pictures to show your stylist the look and silhouette you envision. Your bridal consultant is ready to guide you with all the information you have, or do not have on the wedding gown of your dreams!

Is it crazy to “SAY YES TO THE DRESS” on my first shopping trip?

Many brides say YES the first time! As long as you love your dress, take advantage of the wonderful moment when you fall in love with it.

Do you carry plus size dresses?

Absolutely! We carry plus size wedding dresses up to size 30 in store, and many of the dresses in our shop can be ordered in plus size up to size 34. There are also more plus size dresses in our boutique not pictured on the website, including Berta, LaPremiere and Milla Nova.

Do you carry Mother of the Bride/Groom dresses?

Unfortunately, we do not carry MOB/MOG dresses at this time. This is something that is being considered for the future. Many of our bride’s mothers have had success shopping at higher end department stores.

What is your price range?

Our gowns range from $1000 – 17,500. We require a 65% deposit to order your dress, and the balance is due within 5 business days of the arrival of the gown.

Do you have a sample sale?

Yes, we keep our gowns in great condition and buying a dress off the rack is a great way to purchase a dress at up to 50% off! If your wedding day is around the corner, it will ensure that your dress will be in on time. Our seamstresses can help repair the gown if needed and cleaning options are available.

Will I need alterations and do you recommend a seamstress to use?

As soon as your dress arrives we ask you to come in within 10 days for your first try on. We will order the dress as close to your current size as possible, but all bridal gowns require alterations in order to fit you perfectly. We have in-house alterations but you are not required to use our services. We recommend you allow about 2-3 months for alterations.

What is the average cost of alterations?

When using our master seamstresses, they assess each bride in their gown for the adjustments they need or request. Alterations range from $550-$1400 which includes pressing/steaming, packaging and personal appointments with the seamstress.

Who do I bring to my bridal shopping appointment?

We recommend no more than 3 people to attend your appointment. We feel that the opinions of a trusted few make the decision easier and less stressful and confusing for you.

Are children allowed to come to my bridal appointment?

Because of the delicate nature of the dresses we ask that children under 10 not come to the appointment. We recommend that you bring them to the final fitting if it is important for you to include them during this experience.

Are food and drinks permitted?

We want to keep our shop as tidy as possible so the gowns stay in the best condition for you to try on or buy so we ask that only bottle water be permitted into the shop. We do celebrate with a champagne toast when you say “YES TO THE DRESS!”.

Do I need to schedule an appointment?

Yes, we strongly suggest an appointment, but it is not a necessity, just call us. We like to give each bride our undivided attention and have found that 1 – 1.5 hours is typically the perfect amount of time to review our showroom floor and try on the dresses fit for you!

What is a trunk show?

We carry a hand picked selection of each designer’s collection so trunk shows are a designated time that we have an extended selection of a particular designer. Trunk shows last for only a few days, and appointments fill up quickly, so we recommend you book early if one of your favorite designers will be visiting so you can shop the entire collection.
